Opening night

okay friday was opening night foor The Animals Christmas. Everthing was acctully really good. All of the children came in on time and the other Amy got all of her cues which has never happened before. She has a beautiful voice but has never had any music or voice training i think so she always struggles with time. Anyway she nailed everything. This is all particularly hard because the music director is the biggerst babboon i've ever met. I can't keep a stedy tempo to save his life and is basically an ass hole. Last night he yelled at the lighting guy for twenty minuets about his sound moniter. Mike kept trying to tell him that he was the lighting guy but George wouldn't listen. We all hate him and Jim (other lead) and I wrote a song about poking him in the eye with a pencil. Everyone loved our song. On the bright side we have a fairly talented orchestra which means that they wont fallow George to save thier lives. So the music is acctully pretty good. Last night didn't go quite as well considering Amy came in two mesures late on one of her cues but every one of those kids fallowed her instead of comeing in right so she looked okay and the orchestra figured it out too so we all ended together at least. I'm actully impresed that twenty children under the age od twelve were paying close enough attention to the soloist to come in correctly. No one seemed to notice though and at the end we did a few finaly peaces for the kids in the audience and they all got on stage and started dancing. It was the cutest thing. None of us knew what to do they just started doing this stuff fthat they had obviusly been tought but none of us knew. Everyone in the theater was laughing including the cast.
